5 - DAY STYLING INTENSIVE @ VOGUE COLLEGE LONDON
STREET-STYLE
During the 5-day styling intensive, we were challenged to approach people we deemed street-style worthy in London. Quite an easy feat, in a city as vibrant and diverse as London.
The following were our three finalists. All embodying their true personalities; unapologetically.

COSTS OF THE PATRIARCHY:
AN EXPLORATION OF DISTORTED SELF-IMAGE
Inspired by Steven Meisel's Makeover Madness
During the 5-day styling intensive, we had an opportunity to style a studio shoot around a classic piece. We chose the blazer and stylized it around the social theme of beauty standards and used the blazer as a symbol for the patriarchy in the visual representation of how it can weigh on ones shoulders and distort self-image.
STILL - LIFE

During the 5-day styling intensive, we had an opportunity to style a still-life shoot for the London-based brand Neri Karra.
Our team decided to go for the brand's existing aesthetic of French, elegant, chic, feminine.
As this shoot was for their Instagram, we chose a 'viral' factor prop; a giant croissant - from Phillipe Conticini. An extra aspect for increased organic traffic through tagging the highly instagramable cafe
the final shot
